I've been dying to show you...

I have been whipping up a few of these little cuties, but my camera isn't working to take some pic's to show you... just look how cute and easy these are... go to the idea room

She used a punch, I used a cricket which make it fast. I made a yellow one because yellow pins were really easy to find. So fun and easy and springy.... I'll show you mine when I get my camera up and working again, until then you can admire these from the idea room.

So, I'm on the lookout for all things teacher appreciation.. and I found this website with funny certificates and things. There are awards specific to teachers and other that are "office" types, all rather clever and I think I might use them. Crazy Dr Seuss inspired suckers

So easy and fun for Dr. Seuss celebrations:

here's how!

SUCKERS

2 c. sugar

2/3 c. light corn syrup

2/3 c. water

spray cookie sheets with cooking spray and have stick and swedish fish ready to place.

combine in pot and boil until thermometer registers 305. off the heat stir in 4-5 drops blue food coloring and 1 small bottle strawberry flavoring (.125 fl 0z)

working fairly quickly drop hot candy onto sheet pan in desired amounts to form flat circles whatever size you want...place stick and twist to cover and add fish while candy is sticky. let cool. suckers will harden quickly.
