Sadie had cheer camp today and this was her favorite Bear River Cheerleader (Shawnie)... wow they are an impressive group of girls. They have all got some serious jumping skills.

Today, I held "COOKING SCHOOL" with the kids.

"KNOT" only was it fun and yummy but it became a...

The above image is soda water crystalization on the stove top... something the kids spotted and had to make sure was properly documented on the blog...(thanks Sadie!)

The dough was made in the bread machine

Dough:

1 c. plus 2 Tbsp luke warm water

3 c. flour

3 Tbsp. brown sugar

1 1/2 tsp. yeast

set bread machine to dough option and walk away (the best part)

now for twisting and shouting and dancing and movin' and a groovin!

Then everyone to the pool... watch out its a fizzy one!
Here comes the science project. watch out for some serious chemical reaction when the dough hits the pool of...

the Misadventures...

Wanna see the world's most dangerous creatures... well this morning they existed inside the walls of my home... so we decided to go somewhere


To a land far far away... where dinosaurs roamed and played... the Ogden Eccles Dinosaur Museum was a fun place to spend a rather drizzly boring day.

"Hey kids... watch out for "Nesse" behind you in the water...." They were all a little scared with the life like sounds booming from speakers in the bushes.... Sadie would jump if I even said Boo..

Why is it that NOTHING... I mean, NOTHING ever goes the way I have planned? Kids and husband always have a different agenda. OH WELL...

So, plan B...

Tend to the newly planted planter box that I got for Mother's Day. Jake built it for me. I really like it, but am certainly a novice at planting such a thing. Hope it grows!

And of course, what would some good old "alone in my garden time" be without this little person on my trail.... (how about the bigger little person who is standing behind him... arms crossed and very demanding these days?)

So... where can I hide today? HMMMMMMM.....

EGGS

So, have I mentioned my egg problem? It's getting worse...over the weekend I tasted a couple of treats with eggs in them (lemon square, and a brownie) after which both made me totally sick! WHAT IS THE DEAL? Are my treat eating days over? :) he he he he he ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! Is this just a temporary problem? I don't like the idea one bit! It hasn't always been this bad... nly when I would eat an egg plain. I guess I should give it a rest for a while! So, farewell my egg friends!
